In the kind of world where we belong

Hey.

I went c-a-m-p-i-n-g last weekend. At the beach. There were wild, vampiric horses, and perfectly-cooked cheeseburgers, and a cooler fulla beer, and a cloudless blanket of stars, and s'mores, and orchestrated animal sounds, and a big orange tent. Restless Jared in the late night and early morning. Eggs and beans for brunch. Basked in the scintillating southern sun until everyone complained, swam in the freezing sea, hit the road again, stopped at a drive-in in Ocean City (poor man's Miami) for a cheesesteak and chocolate shake, exhaustion, exhaustion on the drive home, so much sun, sandwiched in the back seat, in the middle, sunburned thighs, blotches of pink, sand, straw-like hair, smelly friends. We were, so high.
